The Crown’s Emma Corrin praised by fans as she ‘comes out as queer’ in bride pic

Emma Corrin, who is better known for her role as Princess Diana on the Netflix hit The Crown may have just caused the internet to come to a complete stand still.

The stunning actress, wowed fans as she dazzled in an ivory wedding dress while appearing to tell her 547,000 followers that she may be part of the LGBTQ+ community.

Looking like a boss girl, she struck up a sassy pose with her arms folded while dressed in full bridal attire that included a long flowing veil.

Sending fans into a complete frenzy she captioned: "Your fave queer bride."

The post lands alongside a picture for a brand new photoshoot with Pop magazine.

Soon after sharing, her social media was brimming with delighted fans and masses of marriage proposals.

Singing sensation Paloma Faith said: "Marry me."

With dozens of offers on the table another fan penned: "That's my wife everyone back off!!!"

Others however were more smitten with what appeared to be bombshell news as they cheered with glee believing that the star had come out.

"Cmooonnn for the gayyysss," read one post.

"The holy representation we've been waiting for! Uh blessed," added another.

"I f***ing knew you were queer. Even more iconic," praised a third.

While a fourth online user wrote: "Proud of you," followed by the Gay Pride rainbow symbol.

In the past, Emma has been known to keep her romantic affairs and sexuality on the down low.

The Netflix star was previously asked by Stella magazine in October, if there happened to be a "boyfriend on the scene."

To which she coyly responded: "I'd rather navigate this on my own. It's nicer to feel like I'm taking care of me."

Daily Star has contacted Emma's reps for comment.

Her post lands as the world awaits the release of her next adventure and upcoming queer drama My Policeman.

Emma will star alongside One Direction star Harry Styles in the on-screen version of the adapted novel by Bethan Roberts.

In the 1950s inspired drama, Emma plays Marion, who falls for her best friend's older brother's pal, Tom – played by Harry Styles.

The pair eventually do go on to marry but Tom is secretly having an affair with Patrick – David Dawson – who is a museum curator.

At the time, homosexuality was illegal and while the pair took sanctions to keep things under wraps, Marion could not contain the green-eyed monster from spilling out.
