Where original Love Islanders are now – Eurovision flop to pleasuring a pig

Love Island first kicked off in 2005 and back then it was swarming with celebrities instead of modern series which see stunning members of the public attempt to be crowned King or Queen of the Villa.

Back when it launched, contestants headed to an island Fiji for five weeks in a bid to try and find love.

The series, then called Celebrity Love Island starred starred a host of hot guys and gals such as media personality and model Calum Best plus Liz McClarnon.

The show, fronted by Patrick Kielty and Kelly Brook, was won by Jayne Middlemiss and Fran Cosgrave.

The show was cancelled in 2006 after its second season but it has been a huge success since being revived in 2015.

As fans of the show eagerly anticipate the new series of the show which launches on June 28, Daily Star Online takes a look at what some of the stars of the first series are up to now.

Jayne Middlemiss

After Jayne won the show she hosted Love Island's spin-off Aftersun on ITV2 for the second series of the show.

She also won Celebrity Masterchef In 2009 as well as presenting the weekend breakfast show on Panda Radio and last year.

She acted as guest presenter on Live from Studio Five – alongside Kate Walsh and Ian Wright, replacing Emma Willis.

In another presenting role she starred in an episode of Pointless Celebrities alongside Jamie Theakston.

She has also acted as cover for Sarah Champion for two weeks on Absolute 80s.

Du'aine Ladejo

Du'aine shot to fame after winning the 400 metre sprint at the European Championships in 1994.

He is also well known for his role as Predator in the popular game show Gladiators.

After Love he has become the creator and owner of TV show Australia's Greatest Athlete between 2009 and 2011

He also made a comeback as Predator when Gladiators returned for a new series on Sky in 2008.

Lady Isabella Hervey

Lady Isabella has appeared on several TV shows since Love Island such as Celebrity Masterchef.

She was also seen on gameshow Hole in the Wall, jumping through polystyrene.

Then in 2007 she launched a new career as a personal trainer,

She has also launched a number of fitness courses.

Fran Cosgrove

Since winning the Love Island crown Fran Cosgrave, starred in ITV2 show Calum, Fran and Dangerous Danan, with fellow contestants Calum Best and Paul Danan.

He also tried his hand at being a musician and released a single, Jetsette, through his group Fran Cosgrave & the Inner City Playboys.

What's more he has made appearances on Celebrity Daredevils, I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! including a reality show special edition called Fool Around with Fran Cosgrave, where he attempted to find single girls.

He started a family with Atomic Kitten star, Natasha Hamilton and they share 12-year-old son, Josh.

Liz McClarnon

The Atomic Kitten star launch a solo career after the show.

In a bid to be picked as the UK's entry for the Eurovision Song Content, Liz released the single Don't It Make You Happy but the single failed to make the chart.

She has appeared on Celebrity Masterchef and made several appearances in musicals, including The War of the Worlds and Legally Blonde The Musical.

In 2012 she made an appearance with Atomic Kitten on ITV2’s The Big Reunion.

Calum Best

Calum Best returned after the first series and won the reality show in 2006.

The model, son of famous footballer George Best, has also launched mens' fragrances called Calum, Best and Day and Night.

He has also made multiple appearances on different reality TV shows, such as Celebrity Big Brother, Famously Single and Celebs Go Dating

The hunk also had his own show called Totally Calum Best and is set to appear in a new series Ex on the Beach in a bid to find love.

Abi Titmuss

Abi shot to fame after appearing in a sex tape with John Leslie, and she soon was named the seventh sexiest woman in the world.

After starring in Celeb Love Island, she appeared in Hell's Kitchen and Come Dine with Me.

The stunning model appeared on the cover of men's magazines a whopping 38 times between 2004 and 2005.

However, Abi soon put her glamour model days behind her and now lives in the US with her husband Ari Welkom and their child, and is now an actress, appearing in Casualty and landing a spot on Days of Our Lives.

Rebecca Loos

Rebecca famously sent viewers wild after making a move on her co-star Abi, telling her she could "burn off the chocolate cake she was eating". The pair then reportedly began kissing and cuddling in the bedroom, with Rebecca saying: "What I need to do is tie you down and make love to you. You would never be the same woman again."

After the show, Rebecca's time in the sun didn't come to an end any time soon, as she soon hit headlines with claims she had an affair with David Beckham, which he fiercely denied with a blunt statement.

He said: "During the past few months I have become accustomed to reading more and more ludicrous stories about my private life.

"The simple truth is that I am very happily married. I have a wonderful wife and two very special kids. There is nothing any third party can do to change these facts."

Rebecca was inundated with offers after the claims, landing her spots on lads' mags, shoots, reality shows and even Playboy.

But the star's most notorious moment has to be when she appeared on Channel 5's The Farm, as she was told she had to collect semen from a pig, leading to her pleasuring him to complete the task.
