This strange pooch is hoping to be named Britain’s ugliest dog – but her owner insists she is beautiful.
Four-year-old Peggy was the pup no one wanted and “the last one left on the shelf”.
But Holly Middleton is besotted with her and does not care what others think, as reported by HullDailyMail.

She said: “We fell in love with her but at first I just felt a bit sorry for her.
“I am just a bit of a sucker for the underdog and for anything quirky and strange that other people maybe deem as not so attractive.
"I just have a bit of a soft spot for them.”
The half-pug, half-Chinese crest mix is one of seven dogs battling to be crowned the nation’s “most hideous” pooch.
The contest, organised by ParrotPrint.com, is offering a professional makeover and photo prize to the winning dog.
Holly, from Leven, East Yorks, said: “I personally don’t think she’s ugly.

“I know she’s quirky looking and she is not everybody’s cup of tea.
“Not everybody thinks she’s beautiful. We do, but I can appreciate why others don’t.
“People have said things like ‘how could you enter your dog? It’s so cruel."
