Security staff in Canada were terrified after spotting a mysterious figure coming towards them in the dark – and some viewers think it is the infamous "skinwalker".

The figure seemed to blend in with the long grass as though it was camouflaging itself and the women, who had worked the 8pm to 8am shift, went to investigate.

In an eerie two-part Tiktok, the figure can be seen walking along the grass towards the women as they record its movements while standing next to a car, repeatedly saying "what the f**k is that?"

The follow up, which was posted by @rananas007, was taken from inside the car as they drove closer to investigate.

Despite the figure being on a clear path, it still appears the same colour as the surrounding grassland and the figure does not have any identifying features.

It proceeds to come towards the car as the women decide to back away.

The parts which have almost 2 million views between both videos have left viewers fearing that it could be a skinwalker.

One commenter wrote: "My first thought was skinwalker."

A commenter warned: "Skinwalker. DO NOT WHISTLE! SAVE YOURSELF NOW SISTER. PLEASE LISTEN!"

"Skinwalker was just tryna say waddup and y'all scared of him," another added.

Skinwalkers are believed in Native American culture to be a type of harmful witch who has the ability to turn into, possess, or disguise themselves as an animal.

According to the tales, they imitate the sound of the creatures they pray on which is why people have warned the creator not to whistle.

Some speculated that it may even be Bigfoot, a ghost or death itself.

Others were quick to point out that the women work as security guards and were meant to try and do something about the mystery figure – but some came to their defence saying they shouldn't "risk their lives".

Many left comments asking why they didn't run the figure over since they were in a car. But the security guard has not responded to these questions and has not posted any more videos to the story after posting the clips around 10 hours ago.
