The biggest animal a human could beat in a fight, according to AI

Revealed: The biggest animal the average human could beat in a fight, according to AI – so, do you agree?

It’s a question that regularly comes up after a few drinks in the pub: what’s the biggest animal you think you could beat in a fight?

While many people have conservative answers, others reckon they could take on huge creatures.

To settle the debate once and for all, MailOnline turned to everyone’s favourite AI bot, ChatGPT.

The bot claims that a ‘well-prepared’ person would stand a chance against large dog, a wild boar, or even a leopard.

However, it adds that ‘attempting to fight any animal is highly risky and not advisable.’

‘What’s the biggest animal you could beat in a fight?’ is a question regularly posed on social media.

Earlier this year, one user tweeted the question, and received very different responses.

One user wasn’t too confident, suggesting a crab, while another claimed they could take on a goat.

Meanwhile, others were feeling braver, with one joking: ‘Giraffes got nothing on me’, and another writing: ‘A gorilla, no kidding. I’ve been practicing MMA for 6 years now, boxing in parallel for 7 years, I could.’

To settle the debate, MailOnline asked ChatGPT the question, and within seconds, the AI bot began typing out its response.

Firstly, the bot highlights that there would be several variables to take into consideration.

‘The outcome of a fight between a human and an animal largely depends on various factors such as the size, strength, and abilities of the animal, as well as the specific circumstances of the fight,’ it said.

In general, it claims that humans are not well equipped to physically fight large, powerful animals.

‘Even smaller animals can pose a significant threat due to their speed, agility, and natural weaponry,’ it added.

If a person had the correct equipment, they could take on some impressively large creatures, according to ChatGPT. This includes a large dog, a wild boar, or a smaller big cat like a cougar or a leopard (stock image)

However, if a person had the correct equipment, they could take on some impressively large creatures, according to ChatGPT.

‘If we consider a hypothetical scenario where a person has a combination of appropriate weapons, defensive gear, and strategic advantages, it might be possible for a well-prepared individual to potentially fend off or defeat a relatively smaller or less aggressive animal,’ it explained.

This includes a large dog, a wild boar, or a smaller big cat like a cougar or a leopard.

Even then, the chances of success would be slim.

‘Attempting to fight any animal is highly risky and not advisable,’ ChatGPT added.

‘Animals should be treated with respect and caution, and conflicts with them should be avoided whenever possible.

‘If you encounter a dangerous animal, it is always best to seek assistance from trained professionals or wildlife authorities rather than attempting to confront the animal yourself.’

The news comes shortly after scientists used artificial intelligence (AI) to simulate battles between the most terrifying animals on Earth.

Somewhat surprisingly, the simulations suggest that a hippo would beat a great white shark – and could even take down a polar bear.

However, the ultimate champion of the animal kingdom is the African Elephant, according to researchers from Animal Matchup.

The UK is home to 92 counties, each with its own distinctive look and feel.

Now, a film editor has tasked artificial intelligence (AI) with putting faces to these counties – with hilarious results.

Duncan Thomsen, 53, used the software Midjourney to create images of ‘average people’ in 13 counties.

The results suggest that the average residents in County Antrim are young with red hair, while people living in Anglesey are elderly (and wrapped up for the cold weather!).

So, do you agree with what AI thinks the average people look like in your county?
