Woman spots ‘ghost’ during flat viewing – but all is not as it seems

A TikTok user has gone viral after uploading footage of her spooky virtual tour of a flat that left her with chills – but all was not as it seemed.

Sarah Vanderbilt was looking around for a potential new apartment on a virtual tour when she spotted a woman on the bed before it mysteriously vanishes before our eyes.

Using a real estate app called Streeteasy, Sarah carefully looks around the property by looking in the kitchen and terrace before venturing towards the bedroom.

It was at this moment that the flat appears to hold some paranormal features that I’m sure Sarah did not see in the description.

A woman appears to be relaxing on her side on the bed but as Sarah moves closer, the figure disappears completely.

She captioned the post with "Just looking at some apartments on Streeteasy" but soon found the funny side of the incident thanks to the comments on the social media platform.

Sarah also added audio to the footage with US talk show host Wendy Williams saying: "What was that?"

The post led to hundreds of comments including one joking: "Free ghost – she just scrolls on TikTok in the corner and knocked over the oat milk."

The video gained over 820,000 views and actually help Sarah solve the situation over the mysterious girl in the video.

According to LadBible, the ghostly figure is actually a fellow TikTok user and reached out to Sarah.

She commented: "OMG OMG OMG that's me and this is my apartment, this is sooo hilarious."

Sarah replied: "I'm so happy you found this and that you found it funny because it actually made my day when I saw this on Streeteasy."

The ‘ghost’ responded: "Of course! When they posted it I also thought it was hilarious."

The popularity of virtual house viewings has grown due to the pandemic with apps such as Streeteasy to help people get a feel for the house and now check for ghosts.
