A TRAVEL expert has revealed ten European holidays that families can go on this year, with return flights for less than £50pp.

Holiday costs are soaring at the moment, but there are bargains to be found if you only know where to look.

The co-founder of travel deals website latestdeals.co.uk Tom Church has revealed ten European getaways, with some return flights for less than £20pp.

Tom said: ‘I was planning a spring holiday for my family and came across so many bargain flights, they were too good not to share.

"The best part is that you don’t have to be based near London to get a deal – there are plenty of flights departing from Manchester Airport, too."

Families can bag a 10 day getaway for a low price with this deal, offering a flight from London Gatwick to Malaga for £18 return.

You’ll need to book separate tickets together, going out on the 6:05am flight on Monday, April 24 with Wizz Air and returning on the 7:10am flight on Wednesday, May 3 with Vueling.

The flight is just under 3 hours, and it’s direct.

People can take a Saturday to Friday holiday to the Spanish capital this May for £34 return.

Prices are currently £21 cheaper than usual, if you know which flights to book.

You’ll be departing on the 16:10 flight from Stansted on Saturday, May 13 and returning on the 22:30 on Friday, May 19 – all with Ryanair.

Madrid has a rich history, stunning architecture, and world-renowned museums.

Visitors can explore iconic landmarks such as the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, and the Retiro Park, or indulge in the city's famous culinary scene, sampling delicious tapas and fine wines.

London to Porto – £26

If you fancy a trip to Portugal, you can get a good deal heading to Porto in mid-March.

You’ll be able to go direct to the city and back from Stansted for just £26, leaving on Ryanair’s 21:05 flight on Saturday, March 18th March and returning on the 6am flight on Saturday, March 25.

Porto is renowned for its world-famous port wine, which can be tasted in the many wine cellars that line the banks of the Douro River.
