The cheapest packages are available next January and February from £32pppn, for a family sharing an Explorer Room at the Alton Towers Resort Hotel, including breakfast.

The whole family will receive free one-day tickets to the waterpark as part of the package, plus evening entertainment at the hotel, and access to hotel facilities and activities such as crazy golf.

Tickets to the theme park are extra.

The Caribbean-themed waterpark boasts loads of interactive attractions, including the Master Blaster and Rush and Rampage rides.

The Master Blaster slide takes visitors on a water ride around the entire aquapark, while the Rush slide is an interactive experience that lets you choose from five different music and light themes to accompany your ride down to the splash pool.

Drift along the lazy river, watch out for the tipping bucket sending 1,000 litres of water cascading down the park, and take on the Flash Floods: Outdoor Flume Adventures with powerful chutes plunging into the outdoor pool.

Meanwhile, the Little Leak area is ideal with young children with a shallow paddling pool, slides and water games to try.

Alton Towers Hotel and water park packages are available to book now until the offer ends on March 17.
