Alton Towers will reopen to the public from March 19, when it will prepare to kick off its line up of events for this year.
The first event is called Festival of Thrills which will take place from April 4 to April 6 and is brand new for 2022.
The festival aims to celebrate the theme park's seven biggest rollercoasters as each one will have its own live music playing out during the weekend.
Adrenaline junkies can enjoy the tunes while they prepare themselves to go on The Smiler, Rita, Thirteen, Wicker Man, Oblivion, Nemesis and Galatica.
From May 21 to June 19, Mardi Gras will return for its second year, where a carnival theme will take over the park, including food from America's Deep South, music and a bar.
The resort will be transformed into a street party and each area of the park will have its own parade float.
