Hotels have now reopened for guests, and while many British coastal destinations have already seen a boom in bookings, lots of city hotels have rooms still available for the summer, starting from just £27 a night.

As Brits look turn to city breaks for an alternative getaway, London in particular is set to see a spike in visitors, due to the launch of ‘Let’s Do London’ – a six million pound domestic tourism campaign that aims to draw Brits tourists back to the capital.

It involves a huge programme of events and cultural activities taking place in London throughout the year, plus a food promotion that's being launched later this month.

With international travel restrictions set to to continue, a city staycation is a more straightforward way of enjoying a quick break. These are some of the best deals on rooms in the capital at the moment:

As part of‘Let’s Do London’, there'll also be new exhibitions, family-friendly experiences, theatre shows, sporting events, festivals and pop-up food and drink sites in the capital.

Over the summer, London Lates will return too, with longer opening hours at popular museums, galleries and music and art venues like Shakespeare’s Globe.
