British Airways resumes short-haul flights from London Heathrow – here are some of the best deals right now | The Sun

BRITISH Airways has resumed the sale of short-haul flights after beng forced to suspend them due to the Heathrow cap.

The airport is currently limiting its daily flights to 100,000, down from 104,000, until at least October.

The UK flag carrier suspended the sale of journeys on July 30 in response, which was extended until today.

It was feared that it could also impact the sale of long-haul flights.

However, British Airways has since confirmed that the short-haul flights have resumed sales from today.

The airline said in an announcement: "The temporary suspension of our ticket sales for short-haul services from London Heathrow will not be extended and fares will continue to be available via all channels for travel from 15 August 2022.
