CROATIA has enforced new rules on British tourists, requiring a negative Covid test from all arrivals.
The decision has been made because of the rising number of Covid cases here in the UK.
Croatia was added to the UK's green list last week, meaning all Brits can visit the country without having to quarantine back in the UK.
However, The Croatian Tourist Office said the new rules were due to the "worsening of epidemiological situation" in the UK, with the new restrictions also in place for Cyprus and Russia.
They explained: "As an additional measure for all travellers coming from these countries, a negative SARS-CoV-2 test performed in the home country is required before entering the territory of the Republic of Croatia, regardless of vaccination status or recovery from COVID-19 disease."
However, they confirmed this could be a PCR test, taken no more than 72 hours before arrival, or a cheaper antigen test, 48 hours before arrival.
Kids under the age of 12 do not need to have the test, as long as they are travelling with an adult who has proof of a negative test.
The new rules will be in place from July 26.
UK arrivals also have to fill in the Enter Croatia form, with proof of accommodation already booked.
It isn't the only country to have introduced new restrictions against Brits – Bulgaria banned UK tourists from entering just days after the UK added the country to the green list.
Other countries such as Greece, France and Portugal all accept antigen tests as well.
