Camping pod breaks from just £30 a night – for a staycation with a difference

FOR an alternative staycation idea, why not swap the usual holiday cottage for a camping pod instead.

Park Holidays have pods available to rent from just £30 a night – and they have all the fun benefits of camping without needing to slum it.

The Camping Pods are a great option for those who want some time away but still want to enjoy a few home comforts.

Each pod has room for up to four guests, with heating, double glazing and electricity, plus a dining table and internet. Guests also get a parking spot and can check-in from 4pm.

This makes them a serious upgrade from camping, but they're still more affordable than glamping.

The pods are available to stay in at some of the holiday company's most popular parks, including Carlton Meres, Suffolk, Dovercourt, Essex, West Mersea, Essex, Birchington Vale, Kent, Seaview, Kent, Marlie, Kent and Golden Sands, Devon.

As well as great locations, all of the parks have family entertainment and facilities ranging from indoor and outdoor pools to restaurants and arcades, which are available to camping guests free of charge.

Over the summer, the parks also cater particularly to families with children, with onsite kids clubs and discounts available to local attractions ranging from theme and water parks to museums and castles.

Park Holidays also offer a Coronavirus Money Back Guarantee if your holiday is affected by Covid.

You can choose to move your holiday to another date with no admin charge, put your plans on hold until you decide on a new date or cancel your holiday and request a refund.
