First look at new I'm A Celebrity attraction opening in the UK this month

THE new I'm a Celebrity attraction is to open later this month, with new pictures revealing what visitors can expect from the indoor adventure.

Opening on July 30 in Manchester's MediaCityUK, guests can compete to be crowned king or queen of the jungle.

Inside will be ziplines, wall climbing, as well as adventure courses and timed trials.

It will feature replica areas of Base Camp, as well as the favourite Croc Creek and Snake Rock, while winners can take their picture on the Jungle Challenge throne and the Winners Bridge.

The attraction teased: "Scale The Ascent, an 8.1m vertical rock climb, reach dizzy heights racing across the suspended Treetop Trail, scramble nets, balance on beams and swing round the Jungle Run, take a leap of faith on Get a Grip and glide through the trees on a Zipline, all as part of timed trials.

"Kiosk Kev is on the line to test your knowledge of the Great British public with our Dingo Dollar Challenge telephones – and if you’re eagle eyed, you can pick up extra stars hidden all around the jungle."

There will also be "Europe’s first ever ceiling-mounted Spyrider" where guests speed through the jungle under 18 seconds, although this will cost extra for guests.

Thankfully, there won't be any bug-eating competitions, nor any live animals.

All ticket-holders also get five free digital photos, or can head to the 'Tree-top Studio' gift shop to buy jungle-themed souvenirs to take home.

Tickets go on sale from July 21, costing £27.50 for kids and £30 for adults.

Guests must be at least eight years old and over 135cm, and anyone between eight and 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

Other exciting attractions in Manchester include the Crystal Maze, which launched the branch in the northern city in 2019.
