HAVEN is adding more outdoor space as well as huge screens, new bars and Burger King kiosks to welcome families back this summer.
The holiday parks reopened in May, and have lifted most of their Covid restrictions this week.
They have since announced new dining and entertainment additions to some of their parks in time for the school holidyas.
Ten of the parks will have new LED screens outside for outdoor viewings, while 27 of the parks will see more outdoor seating.
Five of the parks will be getting outdoor bars and new Burger King kiosks too, to keep families well fed and hydrated.
Also opening at two of the parks is The Jump freefall attraction – already open at Craig Tara, it will also open at Haggerston Castle and Presthaven this summer.
Gerard Tempest, Chief Marketing Officer for Haven, said: “As part of our extensive Park of the Future program we have been trialling both large scale concepts such as the Marina Bar and Stages and Adventure Villages but also some small scale projects such as utilising pop up bars.
"As we look to a busy summer, we have introduced more to our outside areas for guests to enjoy whether they are on a Stay or Stay+Play holiday."
Families wanting to save money this year can book Haven's Stay packages, which just include accommodation, or spend a bit more for their Stay+Play package which include extra perks and attractions.
Guests no longer have to wear face masks in most indoor public areas at Haven or in close contact areas.
They still need to be worn on some areas including the climbing walls, zip wires and other attractions, but not in other parts such as the restaurants and cafes.
Guests also don't have to provide Test & Trace details when booking or arriving, and won't have to use the app to check in.
