How to save up to thousands on a Disney World holiday with FREE food and drink through the Disney Dine package

DISNEY WORLD have launched their new Disney Dine package for their 2019 trips, where the whole family dines for free during their entire stay.

They say that a family of four can save up to £2,000 at Disney World with the booking.

Disney Dine allows guests booked to eat at over 100 locations around Walt Disney World Orlando Resort at no extra charge if they are staying in one of the resort's hotels.

Guests can choose to dine on lobster, steak, salads or anything else, whether they are at their Disney hotel, Disney Springs or at any of the six Disney parks.

The type of dining offer available depends on the type of Walt Disney World accommodation customers choose – with options ranging from budget to fancy.

They range from free breakfast when staying at Disney Value Resorts to a full dining plan with a self-service meal, a waiter service meal and two selected snacks per day whenbstaying at more expensive resorts.

The offer provides savings of up to £2,072 for a family of four, on meals, drinks and snacks over a two-week holiday.

The plans also include speciality drinks like smoothies, milkshakes, mocktails and premium hot chocolates, as well as alcoholic options for over 21s, including cocktails, beers, wines and spirits.

Buying with different tour operators provide different option for holidaymakers.

Attraction Tickets claims to be cheapest place to buy a Disney hotel package.

They are offering a 14-night holiday for a family of four at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (deluxe) for £4,734 (or £1,194 per adult and £1,173 per child) including the free Disney Dining Plan worth £2,072 and 14 day Disney Ultimate park tickets for the price of seven – book here .

Also included is free Memory Maker, early park admission and free Disney Magical Express airport transfers.

Meanwhile, if buying with Virgin, bookings made between April 19 and July 3 for travel dates in 2019 will also be given $200 of spending money – book here.

Staying at a Disney Resort comes with a number of perks, like extended theme park hours, early access to Disney FastPass and complimentary theme park parking, but the rooms are nearly always pricier than going out of the resort.

Staying at a hotel away from the resort will almost always be less expensive and they are more likely to come with discounted flights.

If you really want to save money on accommodation though, the cheapest option is to camp.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is set in 750 acres of pine and cypress forest and a 10-person pitch can accommodate a camper van and up to two tents from as little as $60 a night – book here.

The campsite even counts as a Disney resort, so you can still make use of the exclusive Disney Dining Plan.
