THE dream job for nature lovers is up for grabs that will allow you to live on a picturesque island – and be paid for it.
Exciting opportunities wait for a lucky job hunter on Flat Holm Island, situated five miles out to sea in the Bristol Chanel between England and Wales.
If you need to reset at Christmas, this role could be the perfect chance to escape the chaos of modern day life, and retreat to a peaceful and idyllic setting.
While there is no direct salary, the warden's job comes with travel fully paid for – and all food is free.
Previous trainee wardens have found great success in attaining paid employment within the environmental sector.

The island is the most southerly point of Wales and is where Guglielmo Marconi sent the first ever radio signal across water.
Tourists regularly flock to the island as it is home to a rich and educational history, being the home to monks, Vikings, Victorians and World War II soldiers.
Victorian pub The Gull and Leek is housed in a converted Victorian cottage – with a flock of 70 sheep as its regulars.

But Flat Holm is also home to a 100ft tall Grade II-listed lighthouse, two helipads and gun batteries.
The successful candidate will be hard-working, self-motivated, and prepared to work in all weather conditions, according to the Flat Holm Project.
They will be tasked with fixing equipment and maintaining buildings through the winter months.
Responsibilities also include the upkeep of the stretch of land that is visible from the pier in Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan.
