I'm a flight attendant and I swear by two unusual items when travelling – and they won't cost you much | The Sun
A FLIGHT attendant has revealed two items she gets from hardware shops that make travelling much easier.
When it comes to travel hacks, it's difficult to know which ones are worthwhile copying and which aren't.
However, flight attendants are generally good people to follow, given how frequently they are required to fly.
In a video on Tiktok one flight attendant called Cici, @respect.the.journey, revealed the two items she gets from hardware shops that she never travels without.
The first of the two items were disposable shoe covers, which she uses not only to keep her footwear clean, but also her feet too.
She explained: "When you're going through airport security, just slip your shoes off, put these on, and walk through the security scanner germ free."

Cici also recommends putting the covers over shoes that are packed in your suitcase to stop them getting your clothes dirty and your feet in other notoriously dirty places.
She continued: "Put them on your feet in your hotel room if you're worried about germs."
The flight attendant also revealed a trick to get free shoe covers, allowing her to keep her feet and clothes clean without having to pay for it.
She said: "You can also use shower caps. That's what I do, I take all the shower caps out of hotel rooms and I use them as well."
