AN INFLUENCER has sparked debate online after sharing a video of her saving a sunbed on holiday.
TikTok user Holy Morridge admitted to committing the "ultimate holiday sin" in the video, after constantly arriving too late and missing the best spots.
Having spent too many days on the "uncomfortable chairs" at her resort, she took action and arrived first thing in the morning to reserve one of the comfortable beds overlooking the beach.
While she admitted people often frown upon the common practice, Holy said she didn't feel bad because "everyone else" was doing the same, forcing her to miss out.
She said: "I am currently committing a holiday sin."
"But I have to! Everyone else was – and they always say, 'If you can't beat them then join them'!"

In the video, she filmed herself walking down to the beach at 6am in the morning with her beach bag.
However, the bag was intended for her to put on the bed so that others would think someone was already using it.
She then says: "This so bad, I can't even say it… I'm going to reserve a sunbed.
"But, all holiday I haven't done that, I stuck to my guns and I said, 'No! That's annoying'.

The video has been viewed over 400,000 times and has received a mix of responses from those commenting.
One person wrote: "I thought this was normal. I’ve been doing this since I first started going on hols when I was little."
Another came out in support of Holy, saying: "I did this too, no shame I don’t wanna sunbathe on the floor."
Others however were not as pleased with her behaviour.
One suggested others should remove her belongings if the bed was not being used.
They wrote: "Just chuck the towels off if no one’s sat there. If you're not there it’s not yours."
Another said: "If people do this and then go for breakfast I take their towel off."
