We tucked into the pan-seared salmon, with Parmentier potatoes (£17.50) and a Thai Panang curry (£16).

For special occasions, you can book the restaurant's Coast View Suite which, of course, offers stunning views across Brighton beach.

They are large and the king-size beds make for a good night's sleep.
