A MUM said she was yelled at by her family for packing too much on a long-haul holiday – but people are divided about who is in the wrong.
The mum said she was flying with her husband and 14-month old baby for a 10-day-trip, which included a wedding.
She said: "My husband and I each had [rolling carry on] bags as well, then we had a carry-on sized backpack with the baby’s clothes and toys for the 10-hour flight.
"We also had a soft cooler with milk and food for the baby for the flight and which we would need for the wedding days to bring her food.
"I also had a diaper bag and a collapsible sun shelter that fits in a small shoulder bag."
However, when she arrived at the airport, she said her in-laws were "annoyed" they had so many bags and that they had to wait to check them in.

"I said we would carry them, but they insisted had to drive to a store and buy a large rolling suitcase (I paid) to put some of the smaller bags inside," she added.
After they arrived, they then ran into problems putting the luggage into a car.
She continued: "My husband's mother is very impatient and was very upset by this and one time shouted at me for packing so much.
"It came up again and again with her chastising me for what I packed any time we had to collect the checked luggage or load the car."

She finished by saying she "inconvenienced people" by making them wait for bags but asked if she was in the wrong.
Some people said it sounded like she had too much: "It is easy to over pack. Looks like you could have packed better. There is no need to bring things you can easily buy at your destination."
Someone else agreed: "You sound tedious to travel with to be fair. Sunscreen and beach tents carried on planes vs bought or rented?"
However, most people were on her side – someone said: "How did they expect you to pack for a 10-day vacation, and have enough clothes, baby supplies, and all… and stuff it all into a carry on bag, with the limitations airlines have on how big the carry on bag can even be?"
Another agreed: "Babies need a lot of stuff and it’s better to be prepared."
Someone who said they worked at an international airport also said: "The amount of baggage required for any kid is inversely proportional to their age."
