New Leopard Creek lodges in Kent where you can sleep next to the animals have 20% off sale

PORT Lympne has launched a 20 per cent off sale on their lodges and huts, which includes their new Leopard Creek lodges.

Yet to open, you can save money by booking ahead with them planning to open in April later this year.

Leopard Creek has 14 cabins set in the 600-acre wildlife reserve overlooking the endangered animals.

Animal lovers can choose from cub huts for couples, elegant cabins (suitable for families of two adults and two children) or luxury wigwams with space for four adults.

One night’s room only at Leopard Creek will start from £174.50pp based on two sharing, but can get 20 per cent off in the sale.

The 20 per cent off sale includes 11 of the lodges and villas at the resort, including the popular Wolf Lodge and Rhino Lodge, with views of the animals from the rooms.

The Treehouse Hotel which has views of Kent Downs is also 20 per cent off, along with the Bubble, a transparent dome perfect for stargazing guests.

The promotion is valid for new stays and experiences in 2021, using the code JANUARY2021 but you have to book by January 31.

A one-night stay at the resort starts from just £149 with the discount applied – head to the website here to book.

Sadly, Lion Lodge and Tiger Lodge are not included in the sale, nor is Giraffe Cottage.

Managing Director Tony Kelly said it was their "biggest ever January sale".

He also explained that their new Covid Booking Guarantee allows guests to move their stay or to cancel their trip for free, if the break if cancelled by them or if guests are forced to isolate for coronavirus.

Also not included is the new, long-awaited Giraffe Hall which hopes to open this summer.

Featuring a 10-bedroom 15th century property and five camping pods, the will be its location within the reserve, where the animals will be able to come into the house during dining through the windows and doors.

It will be the first experience of its kind in the western hemisphere, with a similar attraction in Nairobi at Giraffe Hotel.

Here are some other exciting new hotels opening later this year.
