Popular UK caravan park chain has school summer holiday breaks from £12pp a night | The Sun

GOING on a staycation during the school summer holidays is a great way to spend time with the kids.

Undeniably, prices are significantly higher during those weeks, but there are still many options under £300 per stay.

Park Holidays has released a new sale on UK holidays this July and August, and prices start from just over £12pp a night.

Some parks even have indoor and outdoor pools, water slides and shallower splash pools for the little ones.

Little ones can enjoy pottery classes, 'build a teddy' and 'wax hands' workshops for something more relaxed.

You'll also have access to entertainment and live shows during the day and night, including live performances, dance parties and games.

The game zones are packed with arcade favourites, while live shows include anything from star cabarets to the kids' show 'Loopy Rabbit, Cyril the Squirrel & Penny Prickles'.

Accommodation-wise, you can pick between traditional caravans, luxury lodges, cottages and more.

The caravans range from one to four bedrooms, and they come with a fully equipped kitchen, double-glazed windows and linen.

While the luxury lodges come with additional space and a private veranda.

The accommodation available can sleep anywhere between two and eight people, so there's an option for all families.

The school summer holidays should run from Monday, July 24 to Friday, September 1, in England and Wales.

However, in Scotland, term times differ slightly. The holidays should be from Thursday, June 29, to Wednesday, August 16.

The savings are available throughout the summer holidays, but we've found the last week of July to have the lowest prices.

Here are some of the best deals we've spotted in the sale:

  • 3 nights at Harts Isle of Sheppey, Kent – from £229 per stay
  • 3 nights at Bowland Fell in Skipton, Yorkshire – from £291.00 per stay
