THE best budget beach destination has been revealed – it has 30C temperatures and £2 beers.

And it's even better news for Brits who love heading to Spain too.

The research was carried out by luggage storage company Bounce, who analysed a range of factors including weather conditions, the number of beaches in each destination as well as the cost of hotels and food and drink.

Based on the above, the most budget-friendly destination was found to be Benidorm in Spain.

The famous seaside resort town is already popular with Brit holidaymakers thanks to its 16 beaches and various water parks.

Food and drink is cheap too with a beer costing as little as £2 while a meal at a mid-range restaurant will cost £10, although one Brit abroad found beers as cheap as 88p in some spots.

The weather is also great too with temperates reaching 30c in the summer months.

Both Ryanair and easyJet operate direct routes from London to Alicante, with flights starting at £23 in August.

Another Spanish city has also been named as one of the most affordable beach breaks too.

Valencia, in the east of Spain, is also one of the cheapest destinations for accommodation too, with a hotel stay costing £127 per night in August.

There are eight beaches for every one hundred kilometres in the city – making it an ideal location for any Brits who love spending a day at the beach.

It gets pretty toasty too, with temperatures rising to 26C during the hottest months of the year.

Porto in Portugal was also listed as another affordable beach break.

Not only does it have 24 beaches, but the food and drink is cheap too with a cheap meal costing just £8.

Other destinations on the list including Bodrum in Turkey and Athens in Greece.

Meanwhile, here are three other budget holiday spots that are just over four hours from the UK and they have temperatures of 33C.

For Brits who don't want to travel abroad, Hythe in Kent has been named the most affordable holiday town in the UK.
