THERE'S a hotel in England that makes guests "feel like they're abroad without leaving the UK" and holidaymakers love it.

The summer months have plenty of people planning holidays, with staycations and hotel stays being a popular choice for holidaymakers.

One place Brits might not have considered is the Carden Park Hotel in Cheshire.

The award-winning hotel is set in 1,000 acres of country and has an adults-only spa and two championship golf courses.

It's received praise from holidaymakers on TripAdvisor with a 4.5/5 star rating from more than 7,000 views.

One person wrote: "It has a real holiday abroad vibe even though the weather wasn't the warmest."

The footage showed her making the most of the hotel's spa and treatments, and in other clips, she enjoyed the adventure activities too.

And it isn't just holidaymakers who flock to the spa either, celebrities have also been known to visit including Molly-Mae Hague and broadcaster Louise Minchin.

The Carden Park Hotel is surrounded by 1,000 acres of country estate and is home to 197 luxury bedrooms including 18 suites.

Both the King and Twin rooms offer views of the hotel's vast estate, which boasts two championship golf courses.

Guests who opt to stay overnight will have access to the Hotel Leisure Club included in their stay too.

Day-trippers, who are over the age of 18, can also book to use the adults-only spa without having to stay at the hotel overnight.

The spa has several features including a panoramic sauna, outdoor pool, outdoor hot tubs, and a range of treatments too.

Other draws include a champagne garden bar, a beauty bar, and several relaxation rooms.

The hotel also has plenty of outdoor activities too including a zip line,a 10m freefall jump, and rock climbing facilities.

There are also a handful of restaurants at the hotel too including an outdoor terrace and a bar, which both have panoramic views.

Stays at the Carden Park Hotel don't come cheap with prices starting from £199 per night based on two people sharing a room.

But there are plenty of other destinations in the UK that have also been likened to other parts of the world.

East Portlemouth, a village in Devon, has been compared to the Mediterranean due to its sandy beaches with clear blue seas.

Meanwhile, the traditional seaside town of Skegness has been likened to the American city for several years.
