A LOT of Brits like to have a drink at the airport bar to celebrate the beginning of a holiday.
But one TikTok influencer has claimed she saves cash on beers by smuggling booze through security.
In a Tiktok video @Makena_Simpson put down her rucksack and pulled out a clear plastic bag – the kind you'd use to take liquids through an airport.
The bag was full to the brim with miniature bottles of vodka, all of which were under the 100ml liquid allowance, so they weren't confiscated when she went through airport security.
Once she'd gone through, she bought a soft drink and added the vodka she had taken with her.
She said: "How to save money on airport alcohol. Buy mini bottles at the liquor store. Pack them in your bag. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) allows them because they're under 3.4 fluid ounces (100ml).
"Buy a fountain drink. Pour your shot in, decide that one shot isn't enough. Happy flying."
Sun Online Travel has contacted several airports to ask what would happen if a traveller tried to do this, as we're pretty sure it's frowned upon.
