Fan of flower power? Love the idea of partying like it’s 1979? Well, this could be the holiday rental for you.
The 70s inspired penthouse pad, located in Margate, Kent, is decked out with retro finery and can cost as little as £50 a night.
It can sleep two guests on a double bed and a third on the sofa bed.
The flat comes complete with 70s accessories and is coated with classic brown and orange print wallpaper to really bring the vintage vibes.
Don’t worry though, it’s still got all the modern essentials, like Wi-Fi, a coffee machine, and a TV, so you get to live the look of the 1970s without truly being stuck in the past.
It also boasts fantastic views, with the windows looking out onto the historic Margate coastline and local fairground.
Available through Airbnb, the flat is situated on the top floor of the host’s home, so you’ll need to go through their house to access it.
The listing says it’s located ‘a stone’s throw from Margate beach, Dreamland & the Old Town’, making it ideal for exploring the local area.
Even though the studio is technically part of the host’s house, it’s totally self-contained, with its own private bathroom, living area and kitchenette and lockable entrance door.
While costs can be as low as £50 a night, you are required to book a minimum of two nights for your stay – although, at those prices, we’re still pretty impressed.
A listing on Host Unusual reads: ‘A riot of classic brown, cream, and orange tones, funky prints adorn the walls and kitchen tiles, while friendly owner Jessie Rose has seen to it that just about every accessory is authentically ‘70s.
‘You’ll find the glorious “time capsule” apartment covering the entire top floor in Jessie Rose’s central Margate townhouse, just a stone’s throw from the beach, and iconic attractions that include Dreamland and the Turner Contemporary.’
