With family rooms for four people included in the sale, this means a stay will set you back just £7.25 each.

It also means couples heading away for a romantic weekend can do so for just £14.50 each.

Cheap rooms are available to book from May 17 to January 31, 2022.

With staycations set to be more popular than ever, the cheap rooms provide a perfect base for exploring more of the UK.

There are hotels in countryside destinations like the Peak District or the Yorkshire Dales, and 36 hotels in coastal locations like Cornwall, Devon, Scarborough, Brighton, Bournemouth, Blackpool and Southend-on-Sea.

City lovers can book a break in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Liverpool, Oxford, Cambridge or York.

The hotel chain started a Covid-19 safety programme in all its hotels last year, which ensures it has cleaning and social distancing measures in place in line with government guidance.

Travelodge will also let you change your booking until midday on the day of your arrival for £5 when booking a saver rate, but this is free if paying for a flexible rate.

Holidays in England can go ahead at self-contained holiday lets from April 12, the Prime Minister has announced, so long as coronavirus rates continue to fall.

From May 17, hotels are allowed to reopen and holiday homes can be let to groups of up to six people from different households or groups from two households with no cap on size.
