UK holiday parks slash prices for summer 2021 in January sale – with stays from £5.50pppn

HOLIDAY parks are already slashing their prices for summer 2021 bookings to encourage families to look ahead.

Park Holidays, Away Resorts, and Shorefield Holidays are all slashing their prices for holidays in the near future.

Staycations, which saw a boom last year due to last-minute travel restrictions on holidays abroad, are expected to remain popular this year.

Many campsites and holiday parks reported they had sold out for this summer last year, due to an increase in demand as well as families moving their trips from 2020 to this year.

However, there is still availability around the UK at many of the parks, which also have additional perks and protection policies for guests booking now.

Park Holidays are offering £20 deposits and payment plans to avoid any steep upfront costs, as well as 10 per cent off bookings.

Their biggest bargain is four nights in Devon for just £89 – which works out to just £5.50 per person, per night, for a family room.

Away Resorts are letting guests move their holiday for free or get a full "no-quibble" refund if it is affected by coronavirus.

They have parks across the UK including Devon, Cornwall and Dorset, with 10 per cent off holidays and just five per cent deposits.

You can get up to 20 per cent off Shorefield Holidays too, if booking a stay in Dorset of the New Forest.

While Haven have not launched a sale, they have recently announced their two new holiday options – Haven Stay and Haven Stay + Play.

The former will include just holiday bookings, while Stay + Play will include activities, entertainment and excursions.

Bookings already made will automatically be part of the Stay + Play option.

Paul Charles from the PC Agency, who made the headlines weekly over the last few months with his predictions on which countries would lose their UK travel corridors, reckons it'll all start with staycations in March.

He tweeted: "I was asked when I thought holidays would be “on” again? I’d book for 1st May onwards with certainty.

"Staycations will return from March onwards. Short-haul from late April; long-haul from Sept.
