Woman pays just £20.84 for seven-night 4* holiday to Lanzarote – here is how | The Sun

A WOMAN has revealed how she nabbed a seven night holiday to Spain for just £20.84.

Jennifer Rowe, from Solihull, explained how she bid the tiny amount as part of Jet's Bid for a Break scheme.

Having the lowest, unique bid, it means she was offered the bargain trip.

The break includes seven nights at the 4* Sentido Aequora Lanzarote Suites hotel.

It even includes return flights from the UK as well as airport transfers, 22kg checked luggage and 10kg hand luggage.

Jennifer said: “I entered Bid for a Break, as I would also like to visit Lanzarote and the hotel looks fantastic.

"I came up with my bid by choosing four completely random numbers and then just put a dot in the middle to make an amount that I was happy with."

Jet2's Bid for a Break scheme was first started in 2021, although has been brought back this year.

Using the Jet2 app, customers need to enter a random amount they want to pay for the holiday.

If you are the only person to offer that amount, and it is the lowest, then you can then buy the holiday for that price.

Jet2 boss Steve Heapy congratulated Jennifer, adding: "We know how much UK holidaymakers want to get away to enjoy some much-needed sunshine, and we are giving them the chance to do just that in a fun way for potentially only a few pence.

"With some fantastic holidays available to bid on each week, make sure you get involved and have a bid in mind for next week’s holiday."
