Baby assaulted at Guy's Hospital by stranger while being held by horrified mum – as urgent manhunt is launched | The Sun

COPS have launched an urgent manhunt after a baby was assaulted in hospital by a stranger.

The horror incident occurred at Guy’s Hospital in London on Tuesday, March 21.

Cops say they are investigating the incident as a common assault but say the baby was not physically harmed.

Detective Inspector Fiona Fraser said: “Our enquiries have led us to believe that this man may be able to assist the investigation and we are releasing the image as we have not been able to identify him so far."

DI Fraser added: “The mother of the baby explained that a man had approached her while she was waiting for a lift in a central London hospital and touched the baby while they were waiting for the lift.

“She had asked him to stop, which he did, and he then left the building. This was clearly extremely concerning for the mother and we are trying to establish the full facts.

“There are no further incidents of a similar nature which have been reported to us, and we are hoping this man will come forward to speak with us, or someone else may come forward with information.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting CAD2533/22MAR23 . You can also call Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111.
