A DAD desperate to dodge paying maintenance for one of his kids sent an employee to take a paternity test, it was reported.
When the 32-year-old builder became a father for the third time, he tried to dispute paternity so hatched the cunning plan.
The German paid the 29-year-old employee – who he believed looked like – him the equivalent of around £4300 to go to a hospital to take the test, Bild reports.
All seemed to be going to plan when the stand-in tested negative as expected.
But it unravelled spectacularly when a picture of him at the Magdeburg University Clinic hospital emerged – which the child’s mother saw.

With there being a passing resemblance at best, the plot was immediately rumbled.
The bungling pair ended up in court last year when the desperate dad, known as Gordon O. under Germany’s strict privacy laws, was jailed.
He was put behind bars for 14 months for fraud and breach of maintenance obligations but has not been freed after a judge suspended the sentence.
Sidekick Sasha H. was sentenced to probation for his part in the plot.

Gordon O. became a father for the third time in 2017 and the child’s mother was a casual acquaintance.
He told the District Court of Dessau: “Two of my children are not desired children.
Last year it emerged teenager found out her father doesn't think she is his own child and wants her to get a DNA test.
The teenager believes that despite raising her, he now hates being her father.
The teenager said she looks like her father and honestly believes she is his.

But she’s refusing to take a paternity test because she's nervous about what might happen to her if the test reveals a different story.
The father is angry that the daughter won't take a test, but she told him she would think about when she turns 18.
