POLICE are searching for a missing schoolgirl who was last seen five days ago.
Saffron Anderson, 17, was last spotted in the Leith area of Edinburgh around 2.30am last Thursday morning.
And cops say that there are growing concerns for her welfare.
Saffron was last seen in the Portland Street area of the capital.
She is believed to have links to the city centre and the Wester Hailes area.
A social media appeal has also been launched in a bid to widen the search.
And anybody with information has been urged to get in touch with police.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Saffron is described as a white female, slim build around 5’6 in height with auburn hair which is possibly dyed black.

"Saffron was last seen leaving an address on Portland Street, Edinburgh around 2.30am on Thursday 7th November 2019.
"Anyone who may have seen Saffron since this time, or who has any information on her whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 0314 of 7th November 2019."
Police Scotland have been contacted for any further information.
