Pakistan train bombing kills at least three people and leaves ten injured as suspicions turn to local separatist groups

A TERRORIST bomb hit a train in southern Pakistan, killing six people and injuring 19.

A number of the injured are believed to be in a critical condition.

The powerful blast ripped through the Jaffar Express near the village of Mach in the Baluchistan province on Friday morning.

Railways official Tufail Ahmad said the train was heading to the garrison city of Rawalpinding from Quetta, the provincial capital.

It was initially reported that three people had been killed, but some later died of their injuries after being taken to nearby hospitals

It is not yet known who carried out the attack, although the region has been plagued by separatist violence in the past.
