Former President Donald Trump is headlining an Aug. 5 fundraiser for the New York State Republican Party.

The ticket asking price is $1,000 to attend the reception, $5,000 for the reception and a Trump photo op and $25,000 for a coveted roundtable and picture with the former president.

The invitation put out by the NYS Republican Committee said the event will take place in Briarcliff Manor, but does not list a venue.

Trump maintains strong ties to the leaders of the party leadership in his native state.

State GOP chairman Nick Langworthy met with Trump at Trump Tower last month.

Langworthy was one of Trump’s biggest boosters before becoming the state Republican Party chairman, while heading the Erie County GOP.

The fundraiser comes as Republican Party is fighting for influence in statewide politics, with races for governor, attorney general and comptroller up next year.

The GOP has not won a race for statewide office since Republican George Pataki was elected to a third term as governor in 2002.

The Democrats also have strong majorities in both houses of the state Legislature — the Assembly and Senate.

President Biden defeated incumbent Trump by more than 20 percentage points in New York State in last year’s election.

State Democratic Party Chairman Jay Jacobs, asked about Trump raising money for Republicans, said, “I wish them luck. Trump’s support is Ok if you’re a Republican running for office in Alabama. Not so much in New York.”

Republicans hope they can defeat scandal-scarred Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo, if he runs and wins his party’s nomination for a fourth term.

Long Island Congressman Lee Zeldin and Andrew Giuliani — the son of former Mayor Rudy Giuliani — are vying for the GOP nomination for governor. The party leadership has declared Zeldin the “presumptive” nominee, though Giuliani vows to qualify to run in a primary.

Andrew Giuliani said of the Trump fundraiser, “I’m looking forward to attending and it will be a great event.”

Giuliani, who served as a White House aide to the president, golfed with Trump Thursday at the ex-president’s golf course in Bedminster, N.J. Andrew Guiliani used to be a professional golfer.

Cuomo is facing a state Assembly impeachment investigation over his handling of the coronavirus pandemic and sexual harassment claims, as well as probes by state Attorney General Letitia James and the US Justice Department. Cuomo has denied wrongdoing.
