Two shootings and a stabbing overnight in Denver are under investigation.

Police are investigating two shootings and a stabbing overnight in Denver.

The stabbing happened in Northeast Park Hill, in the area of East Smith Road and Monaco Street, police said at 5:24 a.m. Saturday on Twitter. The extent of the man’s injuries were not released.

The two shootings were reported by police within ten minutes of each other.

One shooting was in the Highland Park, in the 3300 block of Clay Street, police said. A man was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries, police said in a 2:39 a.m. tweet.

There was also a shooting in the Gateway area, in the 16200 block of East 40th Avenue, according to police. The victim, a man, was also taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries, according to a 2:49 a.m. Twitter post.

In Adams County overnight, deputies responded to a stabbing in the Western Hills area at the Boulder Crossroads Apartments, 7350 Dakin Street, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies found a man who had been stabbed in the ribs with a kitchen knife, according to a news release. The victim was taken to a local hospital.

Investigators developed information on three people who fled the scene in a vehicle.

The suspect vehicle was spotted near West 84th Avenue and Pecos Street and deputies “conducted a high-risk stop and took the only occupant into custody,” the release said.

The driver was interviewed at a sheriff’s office substation and the “vehicle was processed for evidence.” An investigation is ongoing.
