David Moorman is Suzanne Morphew's brother.

In 2020, Moorman said he organized an "army search" for his sister after she went missing.

In the years since Suzanne’s disappearance, 70 investigators have been working on the case, Sheriff John Spezze said in a news conference.

Authorities have served 135 search warrants in Colorado, interviewed more than 400 people and taking about 1,400 tips on the case.

“I’m pleased with where we are at, this is a step in a long journey,” Moorman told the Denver Post of Barry Morphew's recent arrest.

“It has been a very emotional day, we are trying to wrestle with what has happened.”

Moorman, of Indiana, said his family is “thankful” for the efforts made by authorities in the case.

What did Barry Morphew say about his wife's disappearance?

Barry Morphew recorded a video after his wife went missing in 2020.

"Oh Suzanne, if anyone is out there and can hear this, that has you, please, we’ll do whatever it takes to bring you back," her husband begged in the video.

"We love you, we miss you, your girls need you.

"No questions asked, however much they want – I will do whatever it takes to get you back. Honey, I love you, I want you back so bad."

Barry Morphew also offered a $100,000 reward for information on his wife's whereabouts – an amount matched by a concerned family friend.
