Loose Women star Kaye Adams will allegedly hit the dancefloor this year for Strictly Come Dancing when the show makes its long awaited return next month.

Kaye, 59, will join her fellow Loose Women panellists Judi Love and Ruth Langsford in taking part in the popular BBC dancing competition.

A source said of her signing: “Kaye is a classic Strictly signing. She ticks so many boxes.

"She’s been keeping it a closely guarded secret for some time.”

“Even her own co-stars have been kept in the dark,” they added to The Sun.

OK! have contacted Kaye's reps for comment.

Kaye will be the third Strictly contestant to be announced to be taking part in this year’s series, following soap stars Kym Marsh and Will Mellor.

Sharing his joy over being cast for the star-studded show, Hollyoaks star Will said: "I'm honestly so chuffed to be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing this year!

"Not going to lie, it's totally out of my comfort zone and I know it will be a huge challenge but that's what life is all about."

Will added: "This is also my Mum's favourite show and she’s had a really tough few years so I’m doing this for her as well. Bring it on!”

Echoing similar sentiments about her signing, Corrie’s Kym said in a statement: “I’ve considered doing Strictly for years but the timings never worked out. I’m so delighted that this year they have!

“I’m a huge fan of the show and can’t believe I’m going to go from watching at home in my pyjamas to actually dancing in front of the judges in a glittery dress, it’s unreal!”

Motsi Mabuse, 41, Shirley Ballas, 61, and Craig Revel Horwood, 57, will be returning to the judging panel, as well as Anton Du Beke, 56, who will be a permanent judge this series.

In light of the show returning to our screens soon, Motsi shared what its like to work on Strictly.

"My favourite thing about being on Strictly is just the few seconds [before] the show begins and you can feel backstage everybody's heightened energy. And that live music goes on, every single time, goosebumps. Even now," she told OK!.

Motsi continued, saying: "What people actually do not know is behind the camera is that there is so much love in this show. You just feel it the minute you walk in."

The professional dancer went on to open up about her fellow judges – Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood – and praised them all before revealing which she is closest to away from Strictly.

"We do keep in touch with the judges, but mostly I'm connected with Shirley. I think we're in touch all year," the 41 year old said.
