ALDI will start selling five energy saving Specialbuys within days.

The discount supermarket's Specialbuys are always a hit with shoppers looking for a good bargain.

Energy saving gadgets on offer in the coming weeks include air fryers and heated blankets – and it's thought that shoppers will be quick to snap them up.

Every Thursday and Sunday new items launch in the Aldi Specialbuys section in-store and online.

The budget chain's Specialbuys range often features must-have items at a fraction of the price of rivals.

But if you are thinking of buying any of the products below, it's always worth having a quick shop around first as you might be able to find a similar product cheaper elsewhere.

Most Specialbuy items are available to shop online and in stores, however, there are some items exclusively available online.

But if you buy it online you'll need to factor in any delivery charges.

Shoppers can also pre-order certain items, which is ideal if you really don’t want to miss out on a bargain buy.

Ambino 4.5ltr Air fryer – £39.99

From Tuesday, January 3, shoppers will be able to order the Ambino 4.5ltr air fryer online on Aldi's website.

The 1,000W device comes with a single cooking basket, adjustable temperature controls and a 30-minute timer.

Shoppers will then be able to get their hands on the Specialbuy in stores from Thursday, January 5.

Easy Home Heated Airer – £39.99

Shoppers will be able to get their hands on a winged heated airer for just £39.99 online from Tuesday, January 3.

The device costs just 7p per hour to run and could slash your laundry costs if you regularly rely on using a tumble dryer – which costs roughly £1.45 per cycle.

When not in use the gadget folds down for easy storage.

The heated airer will hit Aldi stores from Sunday, January 8.

Silentnight Comfort Control Electrical Blanket – £19.99-29.99

Shoppers will be able to bag a Silentnight electric under blanket online from Tuesday, January 3.

The gadget costs £19.99 for a single, £24.99 for a double and £29.99 for a king-size blanket.

The device comes with three different heat settings and overheat protection.

The blanket costs just 0.4p per hour to heat your bed and will be available in stores from Sunday, January 8.

Insulation foil – £12.99

Aldi will start selling 7.5m worth of 3-in-one insulation wrap which can easily be applied to cold lofts, garages, basements, conservatories and more.

The double-sided reflective foil and bubble membrane trap air creating a barrier that slows heat from passing through – helping reduce heat loss by up to 65%.

Shoppers will be able to order the insulation rolls online for £12.99 from Tuesday, January 3 and in-store from Sunday, January 8.

Kirkton House Long Hot Water Bottle – £8.99

The £8.99 rubber hot water bottle comes with a faux fur cover and can wrap around your body to keep you warm this winter.

The winter necessity is available in four colours – grey, cream, navy or blush.

The hot water bottle comes with a 2ltr water capacity to keep you warm for longer and will be available online on Tuesday, January 3.

Those wishing to pick up the winter warmer in stores will be able to do so from Sunday, January 8.

What are Aldi Specialbuys? 

Aldi Specialbuys are products available at competitive prices across all departments, including home, beauty and appliances. 

They are often items in high demand, with many being limited edition products or incredible dupes of well know brands that are a fraction of the cost.

On the website, Aldi describes them as "the deals on homeware, gardening, toys and more."

Aldi Specialbuys drop every Thursday and Sunday, but what time do they land online?

The Thursday launch sees Specialbuys go live at 8am, while on Sundays items are released a little later in the morning, at 10am.
