Katie Maloney was originally invited to Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ wedding – but was ultimately “disinvited,” according to the groom.
Davies made the allegation Monday via an Instagram comment on a report claiming Maloney was “seen screaming” at estranged husband Tom Schwartz and co-star Raquel Leviss after allegedly catching them “heavily making out” at the Cancún nuptials last weekend.
“Katie wasn’t at the wedding though,” an Instagram user noted on the post, prompting Davies, 31, to reply, “She was disinvited and rocked up anyway for a ‘girls trip.’”
Maloney’s Instagram page seems to confirm at least part of Davies’ claim.
On Aug. 21, she posted a poolside pic with former “Vanderpump Rules” cast member Kristina Kelly, captioning it, “Vacay Mode 🌞🍹🍍🥑🏝 #happyearlybirthdaykk #girlstrip.”
However, Maloney chimed in – seemingly sarcastically – on Davies’ response to the fan, writing, “I’m enjoying all these untruths 🍿.”
It’s unclear whether Maloney, 35, was referring to her reported yelling, her allegedly rescinded invite or Davies’ claim that she crashed their Mexican getaway anyway.
She has also not outwardly addressed last week’s bombshell report claiming her ex, a groomsman, and Leviss, a bridesmaid, drunkenly made out before possibly engaging in “more” promiscuous activities.
Shay, 37, has chosen not to comment on her guests and their rumored trysts. She told People last week that she simply wanted to enjoy her special day “with every person who is important to us.”
It wouldn’t come as a shock if that group no longer included Maloney, given how she reacted to Shay claiming that her ongoing divorce from Schwartz was putting a strain on the group’s dynamic.
Interestingly enough, it was Leviss, 27, who told Page Six in May that some of her co-stars — namely, Shay — were feeling divided over Maloney and Schwartz’s split.
“I feel like with Tom and Katie, they do expect [people to pick] sides, unfortunately,” she explained. “It has [changed the dynamic], yeah. It seems that way, anyway – even though I’m friends with both of them.”
When asked whether she got that impression more from Maloney or Schwartz, 39, Leviss clarified, “Personally, I don’t get that vibe, but Scheana does, so you should ask her.”
At the time, a rep for Shay declined to comment, but Maloney did not hold back.
“We literally told them there’s no sides to pick,” she fired back on Instagram, adding, “I have felt that some people have on their own done that for whatever reason but tom and I are still friends so whatever.”
