Just four months on from the birth of their baby daughter Bodhi, Chloe Madeley and James Haskell have revealed a sneak peek of their Christmas decorations ahead of their first Christmas together as a family.
The person trainer, 35, and rugby pro, 37, welcomed little Bodhi back in August and had been living with Chloe’s parents, famous presenting duo Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan while their own home underwent renovations.
However with just a few weeks to go until Christmas, the happy couple have now revealed they are back in their own home, as they excitedly prepare for their daughter’s first ever Christmas.
Documenting their renovations on Instagram, Chloe and James have given fans a rare glimpse inside their enviable home, including a firsthand look at what their decorations look like this year.
Getting into the festive spirit, the couple kicked things off by sharing an image of a stunning Christmas tree that is currently taking pride of place in their home.
The large tree was decked out in red and gold baubles, with garlands of lights and ribbons helping to add a little traditional pop of colour to the natural foliage.
A woven star ornament also could be seen atop the tree, as it stood in front of a large bay window.
Although the tree appeared to look as if it had been destined to sit in such a prominent position, the couple admitted it was actually only there because the sofa had yet to arrive.
In a cheeky caption alongside the photo, they wrote: “When the snuggler that goes in the bay window hasn’t arrived yet but it’s Christmas so it’s ok.”
As well as the festive inspired decor, Chloe and James also revealed the rest of their home following weeks of renovations, which included a stunning conservatory transformation.
Opting for a minimalistic colour scheme throughout their home, shades of taupe and white offered the perfect blank canvas for the young family to add their own personality to the space.
In one example shared by the couple, Chloe and James even revealed they had opted for contrasting dining chairs rather than a matching set, with three embroidered chairs from Anthropologie adding a quirky touch of charm to their newly renovated conservatory.
Prior to the renovation, the space had previously featured a monochrome tilted floor and bright blue doors, but after several weeks of hard work, was transformed into a stunning wooden floored conservatory complete with custom built window seat.
The kitchen also saw a much needed upgrade, with crisp clean white units and new floors installed throughout.
There was also a running theme of soft lighting throughout the home, something Chloe said was her preference as she told fans: “Unless I’m doing my makeup, I have no time for bright lights.”
