Eamonn Holmes has found himself embroiled in several spats with his co-workers over the years, including Phillip Schofield and Anthea Turner.

The TV presenter, 63, recently opened up on his past feuds while discussing the topic of taking revenge on GB News with co-host Isabel Webster, 40, on 18 January.

He revealed certain people are simply "dead to me" but vowed not to reveal their names publicly, before adding: "Let's face it there are evil people and in the fight against good or evil, which I am good. The only sort of enemy you want is a defeated enemy."

Let's take a look into Eamonn's feuds over the years…

Anthea Turner

During the recent instalment of GB News, Eamonn touched upon his rift with former co-host Anthea Turner, 62, who he worked with on GMTV.

The pair hosted the ITV1 breakfast show from 1994 until 1996, but it was well known that their relationship was frosty, with Eamonn famously branding her 'Princess Tippy Toes'.

At the time, it was reported that Eamonn gave TV bosses an ultimatum – either they sack Anthea or he will leave. Anthea quit GMTV in 1996 and was replaced by Fiona Phillips.

The 62 year old has previously opened up about her time at GMTV, admitting she wished social media had been around at the time so she could have had and "immediate chance" to reply to criticism.

She said she was "gutted" and "hurt" to leave the network after two years, and went on to say that nobody "likes injustice" or wishes to be "misinterpreted".

Opening up about her experience, Anthea told The Sun: "I was always asked if I was ambitious and, if I said yes, I was made out to be a ruthless person who would walk over anybody to get where I wanted. It would be said that I was hormonal, or I was stamping my feet."

Phillip Schofield & Holly Willoughby

It's well-known that Eamonn has not always seen eye to eye with This Morning presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, but especially Phillip, whose feud with Eamonn and and his wife Ruth Langsford, 62, dates back to 2019.

Loose Women host Ruth lodged a complaint against Phillip to ITV in 2019, according to The Sun, and the pair have shared a number of extremely awkward moments in front of the camera.

After she and Eamonn left This Morning in 2020, Eamonn opened up about Ruth and Phillip's rift and branded him "passive aggressive".

Eamonn told The Daily Mail's Weekend magazine: "Phillip is renowned for snubbing people. He's very passive-aggressive. It's up to Ruth to say how she felt, but I was feeling hurt for her. No one would have snubbed me like that."

In 2022, Eamonn then took multiple swipes at both Holly and Phillip after they were heavily criticised for allegedly 'skipping' the queue at the Queen's lying-in-state.

The GB News host has made his opinion on the matter known and has branded the This Morning presenters "liars" and "arrogant".

He also read out the pair's statement defending their actions on GB News and branded the majority of the explanation lies.

Eamonn said: “They didn’t get a fast-track, they say. Lie. They say they didn’t pay their respects to the body. Lie. What else were they there for? Let’s just tell the truth about the whole thing."

He added: “They messed up, and instead of being arrogant and saying, ‘We were there working as journalists,’ why don’t they just say, ‘Yeah, we thought it would be a good idea.’”

The former ITV star has also liked a string of tweets slamming Holly and Phillip, including one which read: "Personally, if I have a day off and the tv is on itv, I turn it over when Phillip and holly come on. I love @EamonnHolmes and Ruth and Alison Hammond & @radioleary…," and another which called for the pair to be sacked.
