Aaron Rodgers is ready to become a dad.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback, 37, gushed about fiancée Shailene Woodley and opened up about the future with his bride-to-be.

“I’m recently engaged, so been enjoying that part of my life,” Rodgers said during an Instagram Live conversation with Zenith Watches CEO Julien Tornare this week.

“Obviously that’s the best thing that’s happened to me in the last year.”

Woodley, 29, confirmed she and Rodgers were engaged in late February but revealed they’d become betrothed much earlier. It appears they’re already thinking ahead, as Rodgers also dished about fatherhood.

The “next great challenge will be being a father,” adding that many of his friends have families of their own.

“I’ll look forward to taking care of another life at some point,” Rodgers said. “I think it’s gonna be so fun. I’ve dreamt about what that will be like, I’m really excited about that chapter whenever that comes.”

However, Rodgers said parenthood is “maybe not in the immediate future.”

The NFL star first announced he was engaged while accepting the 2020 NFL MVP award but didn’t name his mystery woman.

“It’s an honor to win this award for the third time,” Rodgers said on Feb. 6. “2020 was definitely a crazy year, filled with lots of change, growth, some amazing, memorable moments, 180 straight days of having my nose hairs scraped, playing for very little fans or no fans the entire season, I got engaged, and I played some of the best football of my career.”
