Emma Bunton has announced that she has tied the knot with Jade Jones after the pair started dating more than 20 years ago.

The former Spice Girls star, 45, started dating the lead singer of the 90s band Damage in 1998 but the couple split on multiple occasions before making things official in 2004.

Emma and Jade welcomed their first child Beau Lee Jones, 13, in 2007 and announced their engagement in 2011.

In 2011 the couple also welcomed their second son Tate Lee Jones, who is now 10 years old.

Who is Jade Jones?

Jade is a 42 year old singer-turned-chef.

He is most known for his singing lead in the R&B group Damage who were together from 1996 to 2001.

Jade has 34,100 Instagram followers and has a link in his bio to Damage-branded merchandise.

How long have Jade and Emma been together?

Jade first started dating Emma in 1998 and the couple got engaged in 2011, but they left it until July 2021 to tie the knot.

In May 2017 Emma wrote: "My soul mate, my partner in crime, my best friend my lover. Jade Jones every picture I find of us, you are holding my hand. 19 years today and I love you more than ever."

Emma previously revealed that despite the fact they weren't married, she and Jade already called each other husband and wife.

Speaking about the possibility of a wedding in 2017, the singer told The Sun's Fabulous magazine: "It would be nice, wouldn’t it? I should get round to it. He already calls me his wife and I call him my husband.

"We’re both Aquarians and a little disorganised, so we never get round to organise anything!"

How many children to Jade and Emma have?

Jade and Emma share two sons, Beau and Tate.

Beau was born on August 10 2007, while Tate arrived on May 6 2011.

The couple regularly share pictures of their beautiful boys on social media.


The mum-of-two recently discussed having a third baby with Jade but found out that it may be too late to welcome a new addition to the family after she learned that she was perimenopausal.

The pop star described how she started to feel "unbalanced and anxious" and "put it down to the pandemic".

Speaking to the Mail on Sunday's YOU magazine, Emma said: "At first I put it down to the pandemic. But then the anxiety became more regular, until it was daily.

"I was also lethargic. Something wasn't right. I looked up the symptoms and saw I had quite a few."
