Hollyoaks star Gary Lucy confirmed he is dating ex-Love Islander and Celebs Go Dating star Laura Anderson after meeting on the E4 dating show.
The pair got together after a string of failed dates on the show, despite looking for love with non-celebs alongside the likes of Pete Wicks and fellow Love Island alum Liam Reardon.
The couple previously sparked rumours of a romance after a photo emerged with the former Footballers’ Wives star’s arm wrapped around Anderson’s waist.
The photo emerged after they were spotted heading out for a date at a funfair while filming for the show.
A source revealed: “Gary and Laura were all over each other during breaks from filming.
"They kept going off on their own and it was obvious they were hooking up.”
Gary has been a popular staple of Channel 4’s Hollyoaks for almost 20 years as the character Luke Morgan. He has also appeared in Grange Hill, Footballers’ Wives, Family Fortunes. EastEnders and the BBC drama Missing.
His love life also features many famous faces. He has previously dated Danielle Brent who played Gina Patrick in Hollyoaks and Michelle Ryan who played Zoe Slater in EastEnders.
He also dated Liberty X’s Michelle Heaton and Where the Heart is’ Kelly Wenham before getting wed to his ex-wife Natasha Gray.
After meeting in 2004, Lucy described it as "love at first sight".
The couple married in 2014 after 10 years of dating at London’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel, with celebrity guests including Amy Childs and Sarah Harding. They have four children together, India, Elvis, Sadie and Theodore.
The couple announced their split in 2018 after four years of marriage.
Things were said to have taken a turn for the worse a year previous to the split, with the beauty clinic owner giving the actor a final chance to turn things around following reports of ‘wild partying’.
In a joint statement they said: "It is with great sadness that we announce the end of our marriage.
"This was a very difficult decision, but was reached mutually and amicably. No other parties are involved.
"Our priority is, as always, our children.
"There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision, just two best friends realising it’s time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives possible. We are still a family and will always be loving, dedicated parents."
