- Three-bedroom pad has everything pink, from the sofa to a garden shed
A house decorated entirely in pink has gone on the market for £230,000.
The two bedroom semi-detached home has absolutely everything painted in pink, from the exterior to the garden shed.
It was put up for sale after its pink-obsessed owner – known as the ‘pink lady’ – died in March.
Kathy Charles was so fond of pink she not only painted her entire house in the stand out colour but also only wore pink clothes and dyed her pink.
But the distinctive paint job is bound to split opinion as it stands out on the street, resembling a real-life Barbie house.

A description on RightMove says: ‘A two or three bedroom semi detached home.
‘The property would now probably benefit from some decoration to the interior and exterior.
‘Being situated on a corner plot, this well known colourful house is now being placed on the market with the benefit of no upward chain.
‘Due to the exterior paintwork, which could easily be changed by a new owner, this is probably one of the most recognised houses in the Toton area to be placed on the market for some time.
‘This distinctive two or three bedroom semi detached home offers the opportunity for a new owner to stamp their own mark on their next property.
The listing says that the property could ‘benefit from some decoration to the interior and exterior’, and that the rose walls could ‘easily be changed’ by a new owner
It was owned by Kathy Charles who was so obsessed with pink she even dyed her hair and wore the colour
The property also comes with a pink shed at the bottom of its tiled garden
‘We would ask any interested parties to see through the coloured exterior decoration and see a property which provides the opportunity to create a two or three bedroom home which is well placed for easy access to all the excellent local amenities and facilities which include excellent local schools, shopping facilities and transport links including the latest extension to the Nottingham tram system which terminates in Toton.’
Retired Players cigarette machine operator Kathy, who was in her 60s, was a much-loved neighbour well known for her shocking pink style.
Accountant Julio Herrera, 36, said: ‘We moved here in 2019 and we were a bit apprehensive at first when we saw the pink house, but then we met her and she was the best neighbour you could have.’
Another neighbour, Alex King, 21, said Kathy was ‘lovely’, adding: ‘Directing people here, I always told them it’s the road with the massive pink house you can’t miss it.
‘Even people who haven’t been to the house, they know it when they see it.’
