When it comes to fashion we're constantly seeing trends come and go – from celebrities inspiring the nearly nude trend to Kate Middleton's pussybow blouses, we sometimes can't keep up.

However, there seems to be a new colour which everyone is sporting, and it's definitely one in which we didn't think would take off… brown.

Before you switch off, stay with us as we know it doesn't exactly spark joy, however it does look incredibly chic and shouldn't be disregarded, especially now the likes of Molly-Mae Hague and Rochelle Humes are inspiring so many to opt for the questionable colour.

When it comes to Rochelle's wardrobe, we're pretty sure that there is nothing that the mum-of-three can't pull off.

Whether it's date nights with husband Marvin, or stepping in to present This Morning, this is one lady that is continuously providing us with style envy.

So when she posted the above brown vest top and skirt with matching boots, we automatically became obsessed and wanted to bag it for ourselves, despite the colour.

The trick that Rochelle does is that she uses different shades of the colour in order to break the look up.

Whilst the vest top has green tones to it, the dark boots finish off the look perfectly as it pulls the whole ensemble together.

However, if you do want to sport a head-to-toe look of the same shade then going for more rich chocolate tone is the best way forward.

Molly-Mae Hague has cemented herself as the queen of style, not just by becoming the Creative Director of PrettyLittleThing for the UK and Europe, but also by documenting all of her stunning outfits on her Instagram.

The 22-year-old shows another expert tip for if you want to give brown items a go but don't want to go for a full look, simply team the piece with a dusky grey or warm beige coloured top.

Not only will this keep the tones of the outfit looking connected, but it also ticks the boxes of the tonal trend that has taken the world by storm.

So whilst it might not top peoples favourite colour list, it's definitely one that we're going to be seeing more of.
