I work flat-out on OnlyFans to support my family – lazy mums should take note

An ex-glamour model once dubbed “Britain’s most hated woman” says her work ethic should be an inspiration to others.

Carla Bellucci – infamous for blagging a nose job by faking depression – made the comments while opening up about going bankrupt.

The mum, from Hitchin, Herts, became skint 10 years ago after getting divorced from the father of three of her four kids.

But she said she redeemed herself by “working flat out” to provide for her children – and she now believes her “rags to riches” story should inspire others.

In an exclusive interview with Daily Star, she said: “I went bankrupt after the dirvorce and we lost everything, the house, cars, absolutely everything.

“I was totally and officially bankrupt.

“But I just bounced back and I didn’t sit and cry about it. I got off my a*se and worked, worked, worked and used my brain to try and make as much money as I could.

"I didn’t go around being jealous and hateful, I made a change and worked. I think I’m an inspiration to other women and they should maybe take a leaf out of my book."

The 40-year-old added: “The motivation came from my kids. I had to get back on my feet for them and I had no choice.

“I had three children and I had to make money back. Moping around wasn’t going to make it better.

“I did everything. I was on the Sky channels, I worked on Babestation, I worked in bars being a shot girl, I worked in a photographic studio and I also worked as a makeup artist.

“I worked every job I could, I done anything I could get my hands on.”

Kim Kardashain recently came under fire after offering advice to women in business.

The wealthy star said earlier this month: “It seems nobody wants to work these days.”

And her comments were backed up by Carla – who is rewarding her hard work with eight holidays this year.

She added: “I even see where Molly-Mae was coming from when she said we all have the same 24 hours in a day. It is up to you how you choose to spend them.

“The younger generation especially needs to work. My daughter has got a regular job. Her dream is to be on Love Island but she still goes to a tea shop three or four times a week between her studies to make money because she knows it’s important.

“I have always been self-motivated and have been lucky enough not to suffer from mental health. I just had a strong minded willpower and told myself I would make it. Not for me, but for my children.”

Carla now makes thousands every month by selling glam shots on OnlyFans.

But she said trolls wrongly assume her financial success has happened overnight.

Carla explained:“Someone visited the other day and said, ‘oh this must be the posh kitchen,’ but this has been 10 years of graft to get to where I am.

“I didn’t just start an OnlyFans and ta da… I’ve been grafting for a long time. Ten years after the bankruptcy, I’m now living in a nice big house in a field in the countryside.”

And Carla said “lazy mums” could achieve similar things if they didn’t spend their free time trolling her on social media.

She added: “My message to them is just to get off their a*se and work. I know some people don’t have that same kick in them to do it but you have to pick yourself up because there is always someone worse off.

“There are people in worse situations who still manage to smile and get on with life.

“These people spend too much time feeling sorry for themselves. If they want something, work for it.”

Carla is now set to appear on season three of Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over.

The episode is called Britain's Most Hated Woman? and the mum-of-four said she is interested to see how it will be perceived.

She said: “I am well excited for the fireworks and for the drama. And I’m excited to get some truths out there and for people to have an insight into my life and to get a few things straight.”
