Iceland Black Friday 2021 – how to find the best deals in this year's sale event

FROZEN food chain Iceland is set to join hundreds of retailers slashing prices during Black Friday next month.

Last year the chain slashed prices and offered freebies during the sale event, so we're expecting similar promotions for bargain-hunters to take advantage of for 2021.

If you can't wait until next month to snap up savings, Iceland are offering a number of deals this month, including on party food for Halloween.

Shoppers can pick up 3 for £5 on a range of platters and nibbles – ideal for anyone planning to host friends or family on fright night.

The chain is also upped its student discount from 10% to 20% off until October 31 to celebrate Fresher's Week.

To cash in on the savings students simply need to sign up to the chain's free Bonus Card scheme and head into store with their student ID.

Sadly the extra discounts can't be redeemed online.

However, Iceland fans can take full advantage of this Sun Voucher deal, where you can get £5 off a £45 shop if you are a new online customer.

There's also up to half price off a range if items featured in Iceland's weekly deals too.

What Iceland Black Friday deals to expect for 2021?

Iceland is yet to confirm details about what deals it is offering for Black Friday 2021, but we predict fans of the supermarket will be able to pick up similar deals to last year.

Online the retailer has teased: "2020 was a big year for us – packed with huge Black Friday offers, deals and competitions, but 2021 is set to be even bigger."

The chain is likely to offer big price cuts on popular food ranges as well as money off vouchers to use during the discounting event.

You can also sign up to the chain's Bonus Card to receive rewards every time you shop – including during the Black Friday sale.

What Iceland Black Friday deals were available last year?

Previously Iceland customers were treated to an array of random freebie prizes, money-off vouchers and discounts when making purchases on Black Friday.

Highlights included a year's supply of groceries worth £2,500 and discounts on top branded items for shoppers preparing for the festive season.

In 2019 the chain even offered bargain-hunters the chance to snap up giant Olaf from Frozen cuddly toys in the sale.

When is Black Friday 2021?

This year Black Friday will take place on November 26.

The online only discounting follows Black Friday and the weekend filled with deals, making it the final day to take advantage of savings before Christmas.

Iceland is yet to confirm whether it will take part in Cyber Monday, however it is highly likely that the supermarket will continue any offers from Black Friday through to Monday.
