I'd still be in a loveless marriage if it wasn't for your help | The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: IF it hadn’t been for the Dear Deidre page, I’d still be in a loveless marriage.

But thanks to your advice to other readers in your columns, I have finally gained the strength to walk away and change my life for the better.

I’m 55 and was unhappy for years with my ex-wife, 53.

We had no sex life, didn’t communicate and argued all the time.

She refused to discuss anything or to have counselling. I tried.

I only stayed with her out of duty and because I was scared to be alone.

But your column made me realise I was wasting my life on someone who didn’t deserve me.

It took a lot of guts, but I told her I was unhappy, and walked away.

Now I have a new relationship with a wonderful woman, 47, and so much more confidence.
